Vintage: Willamette Valley is an independent publication launched in 2026 by Karen Olson. Vintage is dedicated to telling the stories of those who care for the land, practice craft, and elevate kinship in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

Why "vintage"?

Vintage evokes quality that lasts, craft handed from one artisan to another through the years, stewardship that carries forward for generations. It also evokes the grape-draped vineyards of the Willamette Valley, the terroir and and the seasons that make each year's harvest into a unique story of place.

Karen is a sixth-generation Willamette Valley resident, raising a seventh generation among the vines and oaks, rivers and forests that distinguish this beautiful part of the Pacific Northwest.
